The Gympie Women’s Health Centre is a community based, not-for-profit organisation providing much needed health and wellbeing supports to women in the Gympie region for over 30 years. Our service offers therapeutic supports, information and referral pathways to help assist and empower women to make informed choices that enhance their health and wellbeing.
Our Services
Individual Counselling: Tertiary qualified and experienced practitioners providing a safe, friendly, and confidential counselling environment. Available to girls and women aged over 14 living in the Gympie Regional Council area.
Outreach Counselling: Our counselling service has been extended to the out regions of Gympie with a practitioner visiting Cooloola Cove and Kilkivan each alternating Tuesday.
GP Service: A sexual and reproductive health GP clinic hosted twice a week by a local female doctor. Available to girls and women aged over 12 living in the Gympie Regional Council area. This service is bulk-billed with a current Medicare card.
Groups & Workshops: Group sessions and workshops are held regularly throughout the year. Our groups range from Therapeutic Relaxation, Art Therapy, Grief Support and Therapeutic Yoga. Please contact us directly to see what groups are currently running.

Located across from the Gympie Hospital and two doors down the hill from i-Med Radiology, you'll find our Centre nestled under the canopy of the jacaranda trees. Our driveway runs down the side of the building and opens to an off-street carpark at the back of the building.

Counselling: $20/session | $10/session with concession card (Contributions can be waived in cases of financial hardship)
GP Clinic: Bulk billed with current Medicare card
