Respite, In-home support, Learning and life skills development, Personal care and community access. This service is appropriate for Individuals/families who - Reside on the Gold Coast, Have either an intellectual, cognitive, neurological, sensory, psychiatric or physical impairment, Are either in receipt of an individualised funding package or a brokered agreement, Who have funds that meet their individual needs, Who are prepared to be actively involved in management and recruitment of their support workers. Who ideally hold the following beliefs Inclusion, Empowerment the individual is encouraged to do what they can for themselves, Community inclusion, Equality the individual is given equal opportunity in life, treated as an individual with fairness and respect, and given choices, Individuals/families that advocate, Individuals/families that are open minded to learn better ways to support themselves/family member.
