Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison Service acts as a cultural link between health professionals and Indigenous patients and their families. The Liaison Officer assists in breaking down any perceived barriers of communication so that Indigenous patients and/or their families have a better understanding of their hospitalisation and treatment.

There are a range of public transport options available to visitors at Gold Coast University Hospital, with a bus stop and light rail station seeing you to the hospital's front door. Visit the Translink website or contact 131 230 to plan your journey. Buses 710, 714, 719, 738 and 739 all stop at Gold Coast University Hospital. There is an underground G:Link tram station below the main entrance of Gold Coast University Hospital. It includes extra amenities such as public toilets, stairs, escalators and lifts. There is a drop off zone at the hospital's main entrance for taxis.
