A non-profit organisation which provides current, accurate and comprehensive information and referral to residents of Townsville.
The types of requests received by the CIC are many and varied. They cover a diversity of issues, including employment services, tenancy rights, family and individual crisis referral, recreational activities, disability access and services and new residents' information.
Services include:
Information and referral service on supports and services in the Townsville Community
Publications (including the 'Townsville Community Directory and 'Townsville Recreation Directory');
updating the Community Directory (an online database
Monthly Townsville Arts E-bulletin;
New Resident Packs;
Photocopying for members of the public; and
Resource Centre with a large selection of newsletters, brochures & information sheets.
